around living water

Ponds and dry landscapes, and tea gardens with their paths, waiting shelters and stone water basins.

We build true koi ponds, made for the fish to thrive. We have rebuilt a pond where fish would not grow, after tracing the cause; restored ponds damaged in the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake; and worked on the tea garden and stone water basin at Chōfuku-ji, a historic temple in Funabashi.

We also create gardens for places that welcome guests, such as showrooms.

For the LEXUS Funabashi showroom, we built a courtyard garden with a small stream. Glance out from the lounge, and there is a view that makes you lose track of time. Green in summer, red in autumn, bare in winter: through a single pane of glass, the seasons greet every guest.

Trees and underplanting in good balance, so that every season shows its beauty.

Changing the flower beds with the seasons is a pleasure. Flowering trees add color high above and make you look forward to their season. We plan gardens around the nature of each plant, from the balance of evergreen and deciduous to how trees and underplanting suit one another.

A garden needs care to stay beautiful. From pruning and felling tall trees to replanting, we draw on long experience to propose a care plan suited to each garden.
